Kili Alexander-McCallum was born in 1999 and raised in Moberly, Missouri. From birth, she was surrounded by a creative family and was always encouraged to pursue the arts.

 

After graduating high school, she spent some time away from higher education before returning in 2021. During this time, she completed an interactive mural in Moberly titled “The Wings", in 2018.

 

Kili is currently completing her BA in Art History, from St. Ambrose University. She is anticipated to graduate in December 2023. While at St. Ambrose University, her academic feats were highlighted on the Dean’s List. She also began her independent research on Art and Culture in the Hawaiian Islands.

 

After her graduation, Kili plans to continue in the field of Art History, with a goal to work in higher education, marketing, libraries, or museums. She will also be assisting with curating an exhibition for the 2024 Calligraphy Conference. Her exhibit will focus on Father Edward Catich's artwork and contribution to calligraphy.

 

Besides being an art history student, Kili also works as a Creative Consultant for Missouri alternative rock band, Concannon. She ensures the band's website and social media presence are up to date. Her first project with the band was designing the cover art for their debut album, "Distortion". She also filmed and edited their debut music video for their song of the same name.

Other interests include creating artwork, reading, creative writing, cooking, and film analysis.
